| Arts Hill Directory: Looking to learn more about the Norristown Arts Hill? The Arts Hill Directory is the place to go to learn about companies and organizations in the Arts Hill area. ACPPA Community Art Center ACPPA Community Art Center is just one of Norristown’s many gems. Tucked within an old stone church on the West End of town, the community art center offers endless possibilities for creative exploration. Following its mission of improving life through art, ACPPA Community Art Center strives to make the arts and art education accessible to all through professional and affordable programming. Recently expanded, the art center offers something for everyone in our bright and spacious studios. Our two hardwood floored dance studios provide space for classes in ballet, jazz, and hip hop as well as yoga and pilates. Students can paint, print, and draw in the visual arts studio and then head across the hall to the ceramics studio to try their hand at handbuilding and glazing pottery. Our performing arts studio boasts a built in practice stage for singing, strumming a guitar, or acting out a scene. ACPPA Community Art Center is also home to CASA (Creative Afterschool Alternatives), a free afterschool program for middle school students. Open from 3:30-5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, CASA offers a safe place for middle-school students to complete homework with adult assistance, enjoy a healthy snack, and to use the arts to have fun while learning. ------------------ Angela's Art The Bel Canto Children's Chorus ------------------------- Brinton Housing Partners LP ------------------ The Centre Theater/Greater Norristown Socieity for the Arts Arts organization offering professional theater, theater classes and children's programming including summer camp, student musical theater workshop and additional children's programming. ------------------ The Homer Group -------------------- Iron Age Theatre Iron Age Theater in a collaborative company. The actors, composers, the tech crew and trusted members of the iron age community all participate in the development of the play. Ultimately these sometimes disparate ideas are focused through the two directors. ---------------------- Marianus Studio Inc. 200A Dekalb Street
